Asia

Stanford has a variety of legal entities in Asia, these range from (i) a for-profit company in India, (ii) a for-profit company in China, and (iii) a fundraising trust in Hong Kong. It is also the managing partner of a consortium of US universities that operates the Inter-University Center for Japanese language studies in Yokohama, Japan. Formerly, Stanford operated a non-profit company in South Korea, this is undergoing dissolution.
