Stanford India Private Limited  was incorporated on May 5, 2017 (“SIPL”), It serves the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies ("Seed") program.

Relationship to Stanford

SIPL is a subsidiary of Stanford University Global, LLC ("SU Global LLC") and Leland Stanford Junior University ("Stanford University"). SU Global LLC is a single member LLC of Stanford University, established to facilitate Stanford's global activities.

The SIPL Board of Directors consists of 3 directors: one based locally in India, and two at Stanford University (one from Graduate School of Business and one from Financial Management Services (Global Business Services)). It also includes a local board advisor.
