Lan supports Global Business Services in Accounting and Finance Operations for global activities at Stanford University. Lan joined Stanford in 2012 when Stanford (Beijing) Consulting Co. (SBCC) was set up in China. She developed finance and accounting policies for SBCC, supervises its ongoing activities, and ensures all compliance and regulatory requirements are met. Lan also works closely with staff members from other Stanford schools and provides financial, operational and business support to facilitate global activities.
Prior to coming to Stanford, Lan spent four years working as an accounting manager and in other finance roles at Numonyx.Inc and Micron Technology in Sacramento. She began her career as an assistant professor in DongHua University at Shanghai, China. Lan holds a Ph.D. in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, China. She is a CPA in the U.S. and China.
